Description
To prevent transmission problems and to resolve difficulties, it is advisable to adapt the system's energy saving plan.
There are three energy saving plans in Windows. The most common are:
Balanced - full performance, but only when it is really needed. Otherwise, energy will be saved and the performance will be reduced.
Energy saving mode - reduced PC performance and screen brightness and thus energy is saved.
High performance - Full screen brightness and full PC performance regardless of energy consumption.
Effects
By setting the energy saving plan to maximum performance, the PC has full power available, which can have a positive effect on the transmission speed and thus on the stability of the scanner.
Conditions
- All Windows versions/all systems
Solution
smart optics recommends selecting the energy saving plan High performance to prevent transmission problems.
Open the energy options via the Windows search function (Windows key – Choose a power plan)
Activate the High performance power plan.
