How do I install an upgrade?

Before each Upgrade, check:

• Via the release notes, whether the new version is compatible with your scanner.
• Whether your PC meets the new system requirements.
• aural Scan:
  Whether you are authorised to upgrade.
  If not, you can purchase a new upgrade.

Procedure

1. Download the current version from the smart optics homepage.
2. Close the software.
3. Execute the setup file and follow the suggestions of the wizard.
4. Restart the PC, switch on the scanner, start the software.
5. If required, enter the new activation code.
