How can I update to a new software version?

You can always find the current version of dental Scan on our homepage.

Since version 3.4.3 upgrades of dental Scan are free of charge.

• You can use the current version of dental Scan if you own one of the following scanners: scanBox, Vinyl Open Air, Vinyl, Vinyl High Resolution, Vinyl UXD.
• Please note: The installation of the upgrade is always possible, but the software only starts in connection with one of the mentioned scanners.

For all other devices:

• Contact support@smartoptics.de to ask for the latest release for your scanner (payable).

• Continue to use the software version you have been using up to now (unlimited).

After installing a chargeable upgrade, access to the software must be reactivated. This is done via an activation code.
